We have some sad news today.
Rose Iwata, originally from Kidwelly and a valued founding member and ex-treasurer of St David's Society Japan, died this morning. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and particularly by her husband, Masa, also a loyal supporter of the society, who bought us our first ever real Welsh flag. Roses's daughter, Sian, was our long-time social secretary, who stepped down to take care of her mother during her long illness. Rose's two sons and her grandchildren were her other treasures. Please say a prayer for Rose and her family. The society will send our condolences, and Ursula, our president , will attend her funeral.
